June / July 2004

The Windies make a trip of a Lifetime to Europe, once again seeing Holland Germany and Switzerland after

20 odd years was incredible, Denise  had been to Europe a few years back  with two of the boys.

I am sure it was an awesome experience for our boys realizing that there was other family.

We had a family reunion on the beach in Holland with approx. 150 relatives and two weeks later a family

reunion in Switzerland with over 100 relatives.

Definitely a trip to remember.

August 2005

Summer is almost over, I took a short trip to Texas for my nephew's graduation from lackland AFB.

Also had the chance to catch up with my brother and his wonderful family. Took a boat-trip down the

Riverwalk in San Antonio, well we walked it to of course.

March 2006

The new family past-time is WOW, anything up to 5 computers going at the same time, that's just at our

house, not to mention friends that we have "influenced" with the game.

Lots of snow today, woke up with 3 inches of it, yeah I know, having lived in Tahoe that's nothing

but still , at our elevation..... and the kids had fun.

May 2006

A quick trip to Utah with Nathanael and Matt, weather should be great.

June 2007

Finally we make it to Orcas Island, off the coast of Washington State, very nice, very serene, THE

place to go to get away from it all, nice slow pace, time to ponder and enjoy the beauty of this island.

Making daily excursions by car or foot, some on the ferry from Island to Island

August 2008

The first step to our migration to the wonderful state of Washington is on the way, I am the trailblazer, winding my way through the Inn's (yes, pun intended)

and out's of the Gastronomic wealth that Washington has to offer, from little B&B's, Restaurants and Hotels, which will it be ? Or will we try and buy our

little piece of paradise. Time will tell :-)
